"Slytherin wins!"
The voice magically amplified screamed all around, while Scorpius was flying in circle around the quidditch field. Gryffindor vs Slytherin, the first match of the season: Rose could easily remember how his friend felt just few days before the game, repeating himslef he would never have seen that "little damned golden snitch". But somehow, Rose felt that Scorpius would have played perfectly, even if that was his first quidditch match: after all, in a way or another, Scorpius used to succeed in everything he did. Still, Scorpius didn't accept any kind word from her. "I'll be a complete idiot" he complained "Up there, like a stupid on that broom. When dad'll know I've failed..." "Who says you're gonna fail?" Rose exclaimed "I bet you'll be the best seeker of Slytherin!" And in fact, in that moment, holding the golden sphere in his hand, Scorpius wasn't that different from the quidditch champions who used to smile and wave from the poster in his room. Rose was smiling and screaming of delight, her eyes fixed on his friend: when he flyed, once again, upon their heads, Scorpius glanced at her, agitating his hand, and the shimmer of the golden snitch lighted up her smile, making her feel more than proud of her best friend. Oookay, so... It has been a long time after I've posted my last deviation about these two, huh?  I'm sorry, it's just... I have to be in the right mood to draw something.The little Rose and Scorpius during their second year at Hogwarts! I feel so proud of them, expecially Rose, it's like a little daughter for me ^^ I'm quite proud of the colouring, since this time I dared to add some more shadows than I usually do... It looks like I put a lot of shadows in every RoseXScorpius pic, ah ah! XD While the background (as always) sucks... I'm sorry, it was just a sketch at the beginning T.T Still, I'm not sure about some words I used in the little story above... This isn't bad at all. I'd just say keep working on your anatomy. The boy's arm looks way too small and way too thin for the action. And Rose's expression is good, but she looks more like her eyes are crossed rather than she's looking up. Try changing her gaze a bit. Eye focus is something a lot of us struggle with, so just keep studying real references (photos of real people and real life, not cartoons/anime) and keep at it.
The color isn't bad. I like how you have some color from the light set into the highlights, instead of just making it lighter and darker. But the surrounding colors should also be brought up into the shadow tones.
Still, not bad. Keep at it!
